Metis is a layer 2 rollup platform offering simple and fast smart contract deployment within the network. A post on the Discord channel claimed that reward claims had been enabled for both Metis holders and community members. However, this was a phishing attack run by a bot. The Discord was restored within an hour of the first Twitter report. It is unclear whether any members of the community fell for the phishing attack.[1][2][3][4][5][6][7]
