ChainLink provides an oracle service which allows smart contracts to gain access to accurate information about the outside world, such as the USD price of particular cryptocurrency assets. On September 3rd, their Discord account promoted a phishing link, which was suspected of draining the wallets of anyone who would connect them to the website. The breach has yet to be officially acknowledged by ChainLink. It is unclear if there have been any victims.[1][2][3][4][5][6][7][8][9][10][11]
