Beanz Claim Phishing Site

Twitter user do_i_feellucky reports that they feel for a fake minting website, promising a free mint of a new "azuki beanz" NFT. Instead of the mint, they granted the attacker full access to transfer NFTs out of their wallet, and 6 Milady NFTs were stolen as a result. The NFT theft was reported to OpenSea and law enforcement, and widely publicized on Twitter. They also attempted to reach out to the new owners of the NFTs. It appears that the NFTs continue to be resold on third party websites and there is no indication that they have been returned.

About None

"Very cool! With adequate hydro it’s like printing money I guess. Before I stopped mining in 2014 I looked into some stuff in Norway and Iceland. But that was beyond my financial wiggle room. I sold all the stuff and bought Bitcoin. Buying Bitcoin instead of mining would’ve been"

"This would’ve been one of my best investments by accident really. I minted those Milady’s last year out of stoned boredom. Can’t stop beating myself up for being so dumb."

"Had to happen, I was too careless."

"the tweet’s I fell for came from verified, big accounts. No typos and the website „to claim the free airdrop“ looked. Instead of a claim they sent tx messages"

"It’s really astounding how many big, verified accounts they use for their scams! They’ve really stepped up their game! Also… the tx messages sent, triple check everything and don’t be too lazy to open the details before signing! Don’t be as dumb like me!"

"Being so dumb to sign the tx after being greedy, wanting them free air drop “azuki beanz”?"

"Well… happened to me too a few weeks back. Don’t expect anything else than being rediculed for being scammed out of your nft’s. Just saying…

Oh and don’t fall for possible help offered in “retrieving” your scammed nft’s. These offerings are just double tap’s of scammer’s!"

"Around 80 total and max 6 would be im profit when sold now. My stats look especially bad because I lost 6 Milady’s and two other nft’s to a scam. Those Milady’s would have made my nft portfolio dark green. Without them… issa a epic disaster!"

"I’m glad too that I didn’t fall for this one, but I’m still sitting on a pile of other underperformers and on top managed to get scammed out of 6 Milady’s due to my stupidity."

"Yep… I remember averaging down into $icx and $neo for almost 4 months after Dec. 31 2018. After that is was $btc only besides some little gambles on the side in the < 5k € area. None of these performed adequately besides $ada."

"Sorry to hear that! Happened to me too a few week’s back. I lost 6 Milady’s to a scam, or better to my own stupidity and a little greed. I’ve lived through some shit before this including being goxxed, but that one got me in da feelz also. Behaved like a little bitch for days."

"Smart! Should have done that wallet access revoke thang before I lost 6 Milady’s to my stupidity falling for a „Azuki Beanz“ scam."
