"Bitcoin ATMs have popped up across the United States over the past year. The machine allows customers to buy or sell the digital currency, and sometimes extract cash, according to a Reuters report on the growing popularity of Bitcoin ATMs."

Surveillance footage captured thieves stealing a Bitcoin ATM from a Silicon Valley liquor store around 4:50 a.m. local time on Thursday. The video shows the ATM being tied to the back of a white van, which then drives forward, pulling the machine through the store's front entrance and knocking out a door. Police are reviewing the footage and investigating the incident, with no further details available.
