SEI Network is pushing the boundaries of blockchain technology with what they report is the first parallelized EVM (ethereum virtual machine). On September 3rd, 2024, their Discord channel offered a free airdrop. Unfortunately this was a phishing link. Users who connected their wallet likely had it drained. There is evidence of one user clicking the link, but no evidence of any users connecting their wallet in this case. The phishing incident did not appear to be mentioned on any official channels of the SEI Network.
