It boasts over 750,000 insights and community dashboards, offering essential metrics for DeFi, NFTs, and various projects or tokens. Dune Analytics did a legitimately airdrop for "steaming hot turds" to their followers in July 2023, and shortly less than a year later, another airdrop was live on their Twitter for a $DUNE token. However, the platform quickly reported a security breach, and the Dune Airdrop post was only live for about 15 minutes. The Dune team regained control of the account and warned users not to interact with any suspicious links or content shared through their official Twitter account until the issue is resolved. They stated that Dune does not conduct token sales or airdrop activities and urged users to remain vigilant against unauthorized communications.
